TOURETTES SUR LOUP TOUR : is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. It has been called Tourrettes-sur-Loup ever since the early twentieth century although prior to that it was known asTourrettes-les-Vence, that occurred in the sixteenth century and lasted until the French revolution. This is an artisan’s village situated near Vence. It features medieval and Romanesque buildings.

GOURDON TOUR : Nicknamed « the eagle’s nest », Gourdon is perched on a rocky spur more than 1,640ft/500m above the River Loup. Lined with craft workshops and art galleries, its medieval streets spring to life in summer.
