Overview

Visita guiada a pé gratuita a Nice

FAQs

What is the duration of the tour?

The tour lasts approximately 2 hours

What is the difference between Free Walking Tour of Nice and Free Night Walking Tour of Nice?

The "One Day" walking tour of Nice, starting at 11:00 a.m., provides everyone with a general overview of Nice and serves as an excellent starting point for your vacation. It is typically busier during the summer season, with groups averaging between 20 and 40 people. The "Evening" excursion, starting at 6:00 p.m., allows you to enjoy the stunning evening lightscape!

I’ve booked for a wrong day. Can I change it?

For free tours, we kindly request you to email us at info@rivierabarcrawltours.com to cancel your reservations. Please include either your booking reference number or your tour date, along with your name and last name, in the email. We'll handle the cancellation for you promptly. Then you can book directly on our www.rivierabarcrawltours.com for another available date at your convenience.

I want to cancel my experience completely. How do I do that?

If you intended to join a FREE tour but are no longer able to do so, simply let us know via email at info@rivierabarcrawl.com. For the cancellation of a paid activity (bar crawl, tour, or other activity), we refer you to what is stated in our terms and conditions. "Any cancellation made at least 72 hours in advance will be refunded at 50%." Generally, we do not refund tickets after this time.

How can I identify my guide?

Your guide will be easily recognizable by wearing either a red company t-shirt, carrying a red umbrella, or sporting a red jacket or sweatshirt with the Riviera Bar Crawl Tours logo. Additionally, they will have a red badge displaying the name of your guide. Keep an eye out for our team!

Why is it important to tip my tour guide?"

Tipping your tour guide not only acknowledges their expertise and hard work but also contributes to supporting their ongoing training and development, as well as the operational, marketing, and management aspects of the tour company. The guides invest significant time and resources in acquiring in-depth knowledge about the destinations they cover, including history, culture, and local customs, which enhances the overall quality of the tour. Your tip helps offset the costs associated with their continuous learning and training, ensuring they stay up-to-date and capable of delivering high-quality experiences. Additionally, tipping plays a vital role in supporting the operational, marketing, and management efforts of the tour company, allowing them to maintain and improve the quality of their services, attract more travelers, and sustain their business. Furthermore, tipping fosters a positive relationship between travelers and guides, fostering a sense of mutual respect and appreciation, which ultimately enhances the overall enjoyment of your travel experience.

How much is the recommended gratuity for my guide?

One common uncertainty walkers may face is determining the appropriate tip to give. There isn't a set price per walker when tipping local guides, as some may give between €10 and €20, and some even €50. The typical average for these types of tips tends to be around €12. This amount varies based on the quality of the guided tour experience and the financial means of each traveler.

Do all tips directly benefit my guide?

For free tours, while we do not charge participants, there are essential operational expenses associated with organizing and conducting the tours. These expenses include administrative, operational, marketing, and training costs, such as website fees, equipment, and other necessary resources. A portion of the tips we receive helps cover these expenses. However, it's important to emphasize that your guides still receive a fair portion of the tips they earn. Also, for paid and private tours, tips directly benefit the guides.

Can a baby stroller be accommodated during the walking tour of Nice?

Certainly! Families are welcome on the tour, and bringing a stroller is entirely feasible. In the old town and along the Promenade des Anglais, you can comfortably use your stroller. In case the tour concludes at the Castle of Nice, while your guide ascends, you have the option to use the elevator and meet the guide and the group at the top of the castle.
